Decemberchild 2006 Recap:
Thanks to everybody for making this year's Decemberchild Benefit Concert the most successful one yet! On November 18th, 2006, over $1000 was raised for the Valley Churches United Missions! The Carl Wakeland Duo, Blueprint, and Superior Olive kept the audience entertained until the very end, when a special guest from the North Pole came out with his board to boogie down on the dance floor. DecemberChild 2003
On September 12, 2003, the legendary Eric Burdon and the Animals played at the Santa
Cruz County Fairgrounds. Afterwards, we hung out backstage with the band, including bassist Dave Meros,
shown here (Click on Photo) with his custom
hybrid bass guitar, made out of parts from 2 different basses!
Joel Savell on fiddle and bass respectively. Alligator's young son trotted alongside
his dad, almost identically dressed and playing a mini accordian of his own, much to the delight of the parade-goers.
At long last, Fetal Pigs In Brine is here. The wild new punk
band debuts with a self-titled album. Surfing themes dominate this album,
in the spirit of early instrumental surf music. Combine that with
heavy doses of old school punk and trippy alternative rock.
Taxi is the new A&R vehicle into the music industry. It is an organization helping songwriters & songwriter / performers get their material published.
Superior Olive's Jacob Save and Tom Savell attended the "Taxi Road Rally", a conference held at the LAX Westin Hotel on Nov 7-10.
